How To Get Started with the Battlefield Hardline Open Beta

If you're wondering how to get access to the open beta between February 3rd and February 8th, it's actually pretty simple, there are no serious hoops to jump through, information for each major platform is below:

PC

1. If you don't have Origin, EA's distribution platform, you need to get it from http://www.origin.com/download and register for an account if you don't have one.
2. As the start of the beta approaches, Battlefield Hardline will appear in the origin client for you to download.

XBOX ONE

1. When the beta becomes available on the platform, you will be able to download it directly from the store on Xbox Live, for free. UPDATE: It is available from the Demo section.

PS4

1. As with XBOX ONE, Battlefield Hardline will appear as a free download from the PlayStation store.

That's it, it's really that simple. Of course if it's not that simple closer to the launch of the beta I'll update the information here.

As an additional perk, for playing the Hardline beta, if you already play Battlefield 4, you'll get a special Battlefield Hardline dog tag.
